Physicians may not be familiar or knowledgeable about employer related risks identified during the COVID-19 pandemic emergency. It is important you know how to manage employees who have apprehension about coming to work and be able to address employee questions about personal protective equipment requirements, workplace controls. You must also be prepared to deal with employees who may be in a high-risk group for exposure to COVID-19, and you need to manage COVID-19 positive patients.

California has passed emergency labor laws that impact employers and employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. Attend this session to learn how you can reduce your medical practice risks, keep employees safe and working, and modify your operations to comply with new labor laws.


Objectives:

At the conclusion of this program, you will be able to:

-Identify the top four employer risks for my practice during COVID-19 pandemic

-Discuss two new and temporary COVID-19 laws affecting employers

-Evaluate my current practice for employee related risks in my practice operations
